I really like the ideas behind this project, but I don’t know if I’ll use it long term because it needs quite a few dependencies (looks like around 800 MB on top of a base debian system). However, using and installing it so far has gone very smoothly. I just had to remember to add line breaks and page breaks.

O.O seriously? At this point, we can just use LibreOffice.

My debian 9.x install, for example:

~$ sudo apt-get install pandoc context

0 upgraded, 62 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 624 MB of archives.
After this operation, 1,019 MB of additional disk space will be used.
