It should be the default when PASTING a link into the address bar to strip all tracking.

Ah this is a nice addition! But wouldn’t an extension be better for this? Rather than being hard coded into Firefox, I mean. The reason is that tracking is a never-ending race between advertisers and ad-blockers. URLs are going to change a lot quicker than Firefox releases.

I hope they will provide somewhere the settings for custom templates. If it is so, it even will be easier for different extensions and users to have a deal with a unified interface. When I say settings I am talking about “advanced settings
