Joke is on you, Apple user. You’re all being tracked regardless.

Sure, Apple may be putting extra focus on the specific IMEIs which have been logged missing, but I’m guessing the majority of these devices will be sold on e-bay/craigslist, or through some proprietary app anyways. Most stolen Apple products are disassembled and sold for parts. In the end, some guy who got a “good deal” online could be the one screwed.

Would be funny if someone finds a remote exploit that disables legitimate iPhones and tells users to return them to Apple because they’re stolen.
