Subsequent releases in the 0.11.x series are planed to be more frequent, no more 5 years waiting.
This is going to be very useful because package maintainers (for Debian for example) only target source releases.
What is the “nascent network”?
The network which is still forming. Though I find the choice of words not fitting? 0.10.1 -> 0.10.1++ changed the way the peers talk to each other, but given the length of development.. yes, it’s still forming.
I’m so glad to see this new release! If I remember correctly, 0.11 was scheduled to be released 4 or 5 years ago! Took a long time :)
Actually it was just a bit more than 1 year ago. Then we did 0.11.0pre66 instead.
I’m almost certain there was a “0.11” roadmap tag that has been postponed several times.
Ah, okay. I only remember what we discussed.
